Portable Document Format (PDF) files can be viewed by a wide range of application software, on either PC or Apple® computers. So, for example, if you receive a Microsoft Word document and don't have Word, ask the sender to provide the document in PDF format. The most popular reader is Adobe Acrobat® Reader which you can download free from http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html. |
